Valentine Cupcakes

My cousin faye suggested to make cupcakes as our dessert of the month for the month of february at Cafe Antonio. I liked the idea and visualized the cupcakes I wanted to make. It would be made of chocolate (ofcourse!) topped with white icing sprinkled with red sugar crystals plus a yummy heart shaped chocolate. It gave me a chance to try a recipe for white icing which I thought was a little bit difficult to make. I gave some to the cafe antonio crew as a taste test and they approved! I can't wait for you guys to try it. The valentines cupcakes will be sold at cafe antonio for 30Php each but if you order by the box(10pcs per box), we'll give it to you for only 250Php. The Girly Birthday Cake

One of my dear and loyal costumer Zadl ordered a very special birthday cake for his very special girlfriend Can's 21st birthday. He asked that I make it as lovely as the cake I made for their first anniversary and that I put 21 candles on the cake. He added that he would be willing to pay any additional cost that I needed. I suggested that the candles would fit better on the cake if it has two layers and he agreed. Making the cake gave me a chance to test my decorating skills and I had fun creating the chocolate leaves. The cake turned out great, well maybe I just a little bit overboard with the red sugar crystals and chocolate sprinkles. Zadl was one happy and satisfied costumer once he saw the cake and the cafe antonio crew ooohhed and aaahhhed over it (I was beaming with pride, hehe). Thanks for this opportunity Zadl, it was fun!

Hello! We temporarily pulled out the Apple Cinnamon Muffins and Blueberry Muffins and replaced it with Choco Banana Muffins and Strawberry Muffins (Php 30). Try it out, it's good! Especially the Choco Banana, it goes great with Cafe Antonio's Flavor of the Month: Choco Banana Nut Frothiccino.

The New Elbi Pie (the pie not the play) is available at Cafe Antonio (http://cafeantonioelbi.blogspot.com/) for only 30 pesos each. We have mixed the strawberries and blueberries together on top of a cumulus cloud of meringue so you could have the goodness of both berries in one bite.

The Elbi Pie aka Very Berry is also available in a bigger, any-occasion size for only 500 pesos.

The Strawberry Cake is also available upon request for only 500 pesos.

eLBi Pie (yung pie na talaga!)

The ELBI PIE was an instant hit on its first and second day at the DL Umali Auditorium! The first batch of pies (Dec. 1) were gone in less than thirty minutes, Ate Faye and Majals had to go back to Cafe Antonio to get more supplies. We would like to say thanks to all the people who supported both the pie and the play! We will be back on Thursday before the gates open at 7 pm. And if you miss it, the ELBI PIE is also available at Cafe Antonio or you could contact us to bake you a batch. See you on Thursday!
